What is CGPA to Percentage?
The CBSE introduced the 10-point CGPA grading system for Class 10 in 2010. The board officially recommends multiplying CGPA by 9.5 to get an equivalent percentage. The 9.5 factor comes from analysis of past five years' Class 10 percentage averages.
Formula
Percentage = CGPA × 9.5 CGPA = Percentage ÷ 9.5 Subject percentage = GP × 9.5 (per subject)
