What is NEET Rank Predictor?
NEET-UG is the single entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and allied undergraduate medical courses in India, scored out of 720. NTA publishes percentile, All India Rank and category ranks. This predictor gives you two ways to estimate your rank: from your expected marks out of 720 using previous year (2024) data, or from your percentile — useful while you wait for official results.
Formula
Percentile → Rank: rank is your position relative to all candidates.
Estimated rank ≈ (1 − percentile / 100) × Total candidates e.g. 99.5 percentile with 24,00,000 candidates ≈ 0.005 × 24,00,000 = 12,000
Marks → Rank: uses a lookup table built from NEET-UG 2024 marks-vs-rank data, with linear interpolation between known points. A few marks near the top can shift your rank by thousands because of the steep competition curve.
2024 qualifying cutoffs (out of 720): General/EWS 162 · General-PwD 144 · OBC/SC/ST 127.
How to use this calculator
Switch between Marks → Rank and Percentile → Rank at the top. In marks mode, enter your expected score out of 720 to see your estimated AIR, rank band, approximate percentile and whether you clear the 2024 qualifying cutoff. In percentile mode, enter your percentile and the candidate count. Use this for early college shortlisting; refer to the official NTA result for the actual AIR you use during MCC counselling.
